You’ve got the payload. We turn it airborne.

Azrael features a quick swap adapter system designed for integration with a wide variety of mission payload solutions. The payload of the system can be swapped in approximately 5 seconds, without using any tools. This module has a wide variety of communication interfaces (UART, CAN, TTL, optionally USB2.0/3.2, Ethernet, or HDMI), and can provide up to 100W of power to the payload itself.

Azrael can be adapted to tactical, and strategic needs on the fly, reducing logistics overhead, and increasing mission success. With our payload integration service, defence forces, and payload manufacturers can quickly turn their existing capabilities into drone based capabilities. Azrael can carry up to 20kg of payload for almost 40 minutes, with maximal envelope of 300(L)*264(W)*320(H) mm. Lighter payloads increase flight endurance. With a 3kg camera as payload, over 70 minutes of forward flight is possible.

Fly longer

While Azrael is a heavy-lift drone at heart, it also boasts a flight endurance of almost 40 minutes with maximal take-off mass. Delivering a 15kg payload? This means an operational return range of approximately 20km. Combined with an operational ceiling of 4000m ASL, your target is within reach.

Extreme Resilience

The system endures harsh environmental conditions, including heavy rain, temperatures ranging from -30 to +50°C, and wind gusts over 14m/s (50km/h). With its advanced mmWave radar based collision avoidance system, Azrael can avoid obstacles even in heavy fog.

Future-Proof Architecture

Azrael is built on standard DroneCAN architecture. A new, improved battery chemistry comes out a few years from now? Better AI companion computers are available? Just get the new AI module, payload, or battery pack, and swap it in. They will work with your existing UAVs.

Under the radar

Optimized for night operations with high-power spotlights, and optional night vision. Equipped with an advanced, mmWave radar-based collision avoidance system Azrael can navigate safely through dense fog and smoke. In Stealth Mode, all light sources are completely deactivated for total light discipline.

Connected.

Our UAVs support MAVLink commands for easy C2 system integration. They communicate over secure, multi band radio systems, that can be adapted/swapped to your requirements. Optionally, fiber optic modules, with up to 15km fibre length are available for absolute jam proofing.

Encrypted.

Azrael communicates over encrypted, multi-band radio systems. Information on the onboard companion computer, and flight controller is stored securely encrypted, using AES-256 encryption. This way, attackers cannot extract crucial mission data, even if it gets captured.

Secure.

The system can operate fully offline, without relying on third party data services. No telemetry, usage, or mission data is forwarded to external services. In addition to this, the drone can be integrated with our remote self destruction module, which physically destroys all onboard data storage.

Unfold.

Lift Azrael from its transit crate, unfold the arms, and slide in the battery. High-ergonomic, tool-free quick-latch mechanisms are integrated directly into the handles, matching natural hand movements for instinctual assembly, and disassembly.

Connect.

Sync with your Ground Control Station (GCS) and upload the mission profile. If the mission goes sideways, Azrael’s onboard AI adapts instantly—executing pre-programmed contingencies like automated return-to-home, landing, or fully autonomous mission execution in GPS-denied environments.

Deploy.

From a cold start to airborne execution in under 2 minutes. This rapid deployment minimizes operator exposure and footprint. When the mission is complete, pack it up just as fast—the platform can be securely stowed within 40 seconds of touchdown
