Metatron: Universal Electronic Safe and Arm Device (ESAD) for drones

Our universal Metatron ESAD modules are engineered for seamless, lightweight, and cost effective integration with the modern battlefield’s most prevalent unmanned platforms, and most common ordinance. No matter if it is an FPV drone, an autonomous delivery system, or an anti-drone interceptor solution. Designed to be system-agnostic, these units interface via standard PWM and TTL signals by default -both for arming, trigger, connection, and feedback-, ensuring native compatibility with all common autopilot solutions.

All our ESAD modules feature a double independent CPU architecture, with cross diagnostics, pre-flight diagnostics, and in-flight diagnostics, to ensure maximal operational safety. Their on-board, and optional mechanical safety systems provide additional protection to operators. They are compatible with various impact, and proximity triggers, as well as acceleration based triggering.

The Metatron ESAD family is a modular platform, fetruring input voltage ranges up to 60V, maximal payload current of 4A, and various communication interface options. In default, it comes with 3xTTL for Trigger, and Arm, and vehicle link, and 1xPWM out for status feedback. I2C, SPI, CAN, MAVLINK communication is available on request.

Depending on the configuration, our system has a detonation delay of less than 25us, which, at 600km/h means a trigger to detonation distance less than 15mm, optimal for cumulative charges, or high speed interceptors.
